Engineer, Telecoms Equipment Installation.
Primary Responsibilities:The Engineer Telecoms equipments will be part of the Telinno Network Services Team and primarily responsible for acting as a Subject Matter Expert on a diverse function of telecoms equipments installation in a multi-technology environment (2G & 3G). This includes:

• Microwave Implementation and Commissioning.
• Huawei BTS3012AE Outdoor unit Implementation and Commissioning .
• Huawei BTS3900A Outdoor unit Implementation and Commissioning.
• Ericsson RBS6000 Outdoor unit Implementation and Commissioning.
• CDMA BTS Commissioning
• 3G & WimaX equipment installation & Commissioning.

• MSC Server Hardware Installation and Implementation.
• Hardware Data Configuration
• GSM BSC Hardware Installation and Implementation.
• GSM BTS Hardware Installation, operation and maintenance.
• GSM BTS Internal RF connection configuration.
• Installation of Battery and Rectifier for BTS Cell site and Switch (AC and DC).
• Pairing connection and termination of E1on interface equipment.

· GSM/CDMA BSC Power PDF (A/c and D/c) Connections with UPS/Inverter to battery bank.
· Cables lying and Termination at appropriate Positions with Labeling.
· Installation of GSM Network Management Programs/Files (M2000)
· GSM BSS Initial and Dynamic Data Configuration.
· GSM BSC Hardware & Software Activation/Commissioning.

• Installation and commission of Ericsson Microwave( Mini Link)equipment such as Mini-link E Mini link TN
• Installation of IDU & ODU with Antennae (1.2GH, 0.6GH, 0.3GH )
• Installation & Commission of DMC Stratex Eclipse microwave including space diversity
• Commissioning of mini Link TN, Mini Link HC and Testing of BTS Equipment and traffic routing for the pass of E1 through the transmission link from BTS
• Configuration of IP Address to the Nodes or clusters/DCN Implementation
• Integration of Ericson RBS/900/800 (Indoor & Outdoor)
• Performing field support and Troubleshooting on Ericsson Mini Link TN (2P, 6P, 20P) and clearing of Alarms
• Maintenance of Radio links for transmission Network sweep test using site master
• Performing of various text like BER Test using tester of E1 viability and performance software loop test.
• Configuration and termination of E1 traffic cable on Krone, E1 traffic routing and cross connection of remote site both software and physically loops to BTS confiq as STM1 from TN to DSS (Marconi DRS 155 EC to OMS 1664/LTU 155
• Performing traffic cut over under limited down time
• Installation and commission of microwave of (DMC Stratex Eclipse, PDH & SDH)

Preferred Qualifications: This position would be based out of Lagos and Abuja.
· BSc degree in electrical/mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent required.
· At least 3+ years of relevant industry experience with strong background in installations
· Knowledge of Huawei telecoms equipments is a must.
· Knowledge of NSN or Ericsson telecoms equipments is a must.
· Strong communication and organizational skills, able to communicate within various areas and functional groups of the company.
· Advanced Hands-on experience of telecoms equipment testers is required.
