Software developer

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
· Applicant must be a computer science/ software engineering graduate (BSc) with a minimum of 2.1
· Must possess an excellent knowledge of developing data driven web applications using Java and Spring MVC
· He/she must possess database programming skills in SQL, preferably with an experience of using the PostgreSQL database (stored procedures, triggers, views and user defined functions)
· Should have a good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery to perform required duties
· Applicant should have good server deployment skills in Apache and Tomcat
· Should have an understanding of applying SSL certificates
· An understanding of object- oriented methodologies and Linux commands is also required for this job
· Good communication skills (written and oral) is required
· Applicant must be self- motivated and must be able to work without supervision.
· He/she should have good drafting and interpersonal skill

RESPONSIBILITIES
· In charge of software development
· Must be able to design and test software applications
· Applicant would be in charge of software deployment and general maintenance of the software application
· Administration of codes
· Provide up to date documentation for all developed application
· Liaise with external vendors for solution delivery, support and maintenance of IT infrastructure (in line with group standards)
