Software content administrator

Our client, a new software company based in Lagos, is about unveiling a software product developed in partnership with a government agency. They therefore, urgently require the services of one (1) Software Content Administrator for the product in Lagos.


ROLE: SOFTWARE CONTENT ADMINISTRATOR


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continuous daily update of data into the software using a web-based application
• Continuous sourcing of data from multiple defined online sources
• Frequent interactions with the leadership of the government institution (partners ) - mainly in Lagos with frequent phone calls to all other states in Nigeria
• Steady monitoring of users’ experience with the software (remotely) by reviewing direct and indirect feedbacks
• Coordinate and manage requests and payments by software users, through the provision of guidance and advice mainly by phone calls and emails (from all states in Nigeria)
• Implement and monitor advertising campaigns for the software on social media and blogs
• Generate and sustain a conversation on the product by updating our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google etc.)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A good university degree, minimum second class lower (2.2) in any discipline from a reputable university
• Very familiar with software and internet environment (Mobile apps and Web apps)
• Must be a technology enthusiast. Evidence of prior involvement with technology platforms and initiatives - formal or informal - will be required from you
• Not more than one (1) year post graduation experience (serving corps member will not be available in two weeks and hence should not apply)
• Must reside or be willing/able to reside in Lagos (preferably on the mainland)

• Must be a person of high integrity due to the nature of the government institution involved.
• A jovial, tolerant and people person (will talk to lots of people on the phone)
• Independent minded (you will work with minimal supervision)
• A hard worker, willing to grow and take on higher responsibilities as the company expands
