Willock Technical Services (WTS)is an engineering based company with its head office in Port Harcourt city, Rivers state and branch office in Lagos State. Within few years of commencement, WTS consult have successfully trained over 500 persons both on corporate and individual basis across the nation, of which large percent of them, are gainfully employed in multinational firms across the nation. And their testimonies have been our strength despite challenges.

WTS consult was given birth to bridge the wide gap and also consolidate the technical aspect of most of the courses undertaking today by our graduates both from the testimony and higher institutions of learning and to further Improve the manpower in different aspect of our industrial design.
SOFTWARE PACKAGES
Software package includes;
PDMS (Plant Design Management System).
The PDMS 3D Modeling application, which enables real-time, on-line global
work-share on small, medium, large and multibillion dollar Power Plant,
Marine, Oil and Gas facilities Design Projects, is designed to empower
participants in the use of PDMS in developing Structural, Piping, Electrical
and instrumentation components as an introduction to the necessary skills
to optimize PDMS in the detailed Engineering of Oil and Gas facilities.

This class promises to be very exciting as it will afford participants to be
engaged in diverse project work, allow them work in teams, share knowledge
and add value drawn from their different engineering background and
experiences. By the end of the course, it is expected that each participant
would be able to improve design efficiency using PDMS, thus, reducing rework
in construction clash management and aiding decision making and planning.


Areas to be covered during the course of the training are:
MODULE 1, DESIGN:
A. Equipment DESIGN (vessels, pumps, heat exchanger, assemblies, air coolers)
B. Piping DESIGN INCLUDING explicit piping for piping engineers
C. Hangers and Supports(PIPE HANGERS AND SUPPORTS)
D. Structural steelwork (column, beams, panels and plates, wall and floors) for civil and structural engineers
E. ASL MODELLER (Access, stairs and ladder) for structural and civil engineers
F. Cable trays for electrical and electronics &instrument engineers


MODULE 2, SPOOLER:
A. Pipe data consistency Check (Checking for consistency and elimination of error)
B. Preparation of pipe Work for Spooling
C. Creating of Welds
D. Breaking of pipe into Spooles

MODULE 3, DRAFT:
A. Production of piping general Arrangement (P.G.A)
B. Production of Material Take Off (MTO)
C. Conversion from PDMS Draft to AutoCAD format.

MODULE 4, ISODRAFT:
A. Generation of Pipe Isometrics and MTO's

5. Plant layout and drafting interpretation
6. Using ASME code

Project: Design Project for Appraisal; Interpretation and Design of a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plant

At the end of the training real projects with live datas from AGIP Oil Co. will be used to simulate
