Arriving at your NYSC Orientation Camp

Leaving the comfort of home ( and in a lot of cases, the confines of your mother’s wrapper ) , is usually a daunting task for a good number of young people. There’s usually the tendency to keep moving the date, or remain undecided.
So when is the best day to arrive at the orientation camp ? Well in our opinion , its safest to arrive a day before the official opening date of the camp. Why ?
• You stand a better chance of getting a proper/decent place in the often cramped hostels
• You have more time to prepare and finish your registration
• You have more time to settle down and get acquainted to the new environment and can easily go out to purchase any items that you may have unwittingly missed
Hopefully this tip will save you from the scrambling and scheming for the scarce resources in your orientation camp.
