Vacancy: Investment Promotion Consultants

Experienced Investment Promotion Consultants are needed for an imminent DFID funded project. Key duties shall include:
Update and improve on the information packs currently being developed by for each state;

Train the staff of the newly formed state agencies in cost effective ways of raising investor awareness; Help them target and mobilise potential investors that are likely to be interested in the opportunities available within the state;

Undertake a training needs assessment of staff working at One Stop Investment Center(s) and identify suitable training courses or where appropriate undertake seminars and short training courses;

Provide technical assistance to the Federal and state level OSICs to formalise their protocols with agencies in the form of stronger Memorandum of Understanding that represent a process whereby procedures are reviewed and simplified continuously in the light of investor experience; and

Help to provide evidence of the potential benefits of the reforms to persuade policy makers make the system of obtaining approvals, permits and licenses simpler and more transparent
