Urgent vacancy for Security Manager

A property management and maintenance company based in Lekki, Lagos requires the services of senior and outstanding individuals with excellent managerial skills for immediate employment for Head of security or Security Managers.

Job description:
The security Manager will have management responsibility for the security operations within the estate and its environs with the possibility of expansion in the near future. Key accountabilities will be to optimize the utilization of staff, to enhance and maintain top quality of services from contracted parties, and to continuously monitor and assess the risk situation for the executives and the office operations. Risk mitigation measurements are expected to be developed commensurate with the risks and threat assessments. You will operationally assist the CSO within the estate in developing security policies, procedures, daily security routines, emergency and crisis management plans, adapting them to local circumstances.

Responsibilities /Qualification:
• B.Sc in the required field, MBA is an added advantage.
• Must possess hands on experience in the security field operating in the same capacity as a head.
• Must be articulate, vigilant and resourceful with excellent Managerial skills.
• Must possess leadership skills, must be computer literate with good writing and analytical writing skills
• He will be in charge of all security guards and all security related issues within the estate.
• Would be responsible for all security reports.
• Providing pre-emptive security, assistance and coordination in the roll out of international crisis management and business continuity management will be part of your operational responsibilities.
• When security incidents occur, you should be able to organize and handle the first response and quickly identify the next essential steps.
• You will act as first point of contact for all security related matters, both from the board and from the organization side, external security providers included.

Candidate profile:
The successful candidate will be a proven project manager as well as having demonstrable background in physical security management and business continuity planning. The role requires hands on attitude, good analytical skills and a structured approach.
