I cant really remember applying for this stuff...but I think I might have applied in one way or the other. I dont think its a scam...but ur advice is welcomed. I checked my inbox and saw this invitation:

I am happy to inform you that you have been preselected as one of the potential candidates for this scholarship award. In view of this, you are hereby invited for the Scholarship Aptitude Test which will take place as follows:

Date: Friday 16th January 2009
Time: 8.00am
Venue: Atlantic Hall, Presidential Hotel, Rumuola, Port Harcourt

Successful candidates will be further interviewed as from 26th January 2009 and considered for scholarship opportunities in the 2009/2010 academic year.

You are also requested to come along with two recent passport size photographs, a valid photo identification card or international passport, as well as a calculator, pencil, and eraser. You will be required to show evidence of your degree results as well as evidence of completion or commencement of your NYSC.

You will be responsible for your transport and accommodation arrangements for which you will be reimbursed at our own rates at the venue of the tests.

House, Total usually ask you to confirm if you are coming for there interviews when they invite you for one. so that part of the mail is in Order

Guy, its no scam. i attended same test last year. U may be called for confirmation on phone also whether u will be able to attend the test or not. Infact, as claimed, u will be reimbursed for ur transportation and accomodation accordingly. Its simply numerical and verbal reasoning test

whether it is scam or no scam, it is better you call or text total recruiting manager on this number(the number with which they sent me the the last recruitment invitation) or mail them on "[email protected]
