CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS AFTER ALL THE HOPE?

Welcome to the real world my brother.I am beginning to doubt the sincerity of Shell considering the fact that they lay-off 2500 staffs. It is only reasonable to think that the staffs remaining are trying to slot-in their relations.

Anyway, not to worry there are still many ways of entering Shell you only lost out as a graduate trainee.You could still enter as a full staff who knows.

I also received the heartbreaking email after sitting on the long thing.i still do not understand if it is based on the test result as claimed, u know naija, we are capable of anything

I want you to see it like this; 'God does not want me there that's why they dint pick me' which actually means its a good thing they din't employ you, il'd rathe not be thee than be where God does not want me to be.

is dere anybody dat received gud news 4rm shell cos i'm skeptical abt d genuity of SITP.hw come we dint make it after passing SITP test.

the truth is that they have not fixed a date for SITP

to the best of my knowledge, a number of people are yet to be communicated and i take that to be class still under consideration.must have been atight one this yr considering that this time last yr, interview had started...

Florafab,thanks alot for the word of encouragement i believe in God and i know he has another better opportunity for us.Lets all be more prayerful,he is on the throne and he is bigger than Shell or any company.

Lucky for me, they disappointed me from the word go! (During the applications stage). Thank God I didn't have to wait and hope!

I now work as a Contract Staff with Shell. LOL 8)

O Boy, I also received such message from Shell. But, I should not be bothered Bcos Success in Life does not depend in working with SHELL.

Its hard but you guys should move on. i mean when a man falls, he gets up, wipes himself cleen and moves on.

Its quite disappointing that after waiting this far I got the same e-mail :( :o . I encourage others who got same to move on. Success is at our doorstep. For some that are yet to be called, I wish them success too :) ;) .

lay off stafs in shell is mainly managerial level not fresshers

if shell disappointed you by taking their time to find soothing words to inform you of your test result,then you are lucky.
TRANSOCEAN will probably give you stroke if you did their test.they dont care what you feel,brother!
Next year is another year.keep trying and dont lose hope.

anyhow God dey na Him go see us out of this quagmire we dey inside.this is the 3rd time they are sending rejection letters and they are making it a habit of sending it at the end of the month.Anyway man must survive.

I got such a message from another company and I know it really hurts. It's quite painful but life continues, dust yourselves up and move no! That's what I did.

one of ma friends said that SHELL will start callin people from january 2009 and the successful candidates will b taken in april 2009. Those who are still in the race should still keep their hopes alive.

SITP 2 January -April 2009? When pple wrote the SITP 1 around July 2008?
At the end of the day they still want you to be 'under 24 years'.

cheer up brother! same thing happened to me last year from both shell and Mobil.
But today, I am writing this from one of the best Universities in the UK, studying Msc in Engineering
care of PTDF Overseas Scholarship. Your destiny is not tied to shell or any company. Only God
Almighty can determine your destiny. Shell is not big enough for you. That's the reason
you are not taken. Cheer up and keep trusting God. It is well!
