PTDF Overseas Scholarship Scratch Card

You can purchase your PTDF scratch card at the 1st Bank headquarters at Marina for 1000naira only.
Pls have the following at hand before filling the online form as any mistake could lead to disqualification- personal details, family details, educational details including nysc number, employment details and intended M.Sc programme. Type N/A (not applicable) where such is not applicable to you.
Also have a printer on standby to print your forms once you submit them online.

i have gone round the 1st banks in Port Harcourt but couldn't get

You can get the scatch card from first bank headquarters in Leventis close to mile 1 in p.h.
I went there yesterday, as of the morning hours, it was not available but in the afternoon they received it.
So hurry and get yours now.

these cards aren't available yet. any counter view to that?

The cards are available infact i picked mine yesterday frm 35 marina in lag.BUT the house should be careful scratch the card to confirm if the digits are 12.cos the one i bought for my brother inlaw was 8 digits and it is invalid.

pls house somebody should help me, my form cannot be submitted, when i click on submit a page showing ''Column 'scratchcardno' cannot be null'' comes up, what does it mean.

Are U thru wit ur applications?
Did they ask of Academic Transcript 4 d online applications(Is it compulsory at dis stage)??

Am asking bcos my school takes so much time to process transcript and I want to know if I can apply and latter send my transcript.

Plz guys help me out.
My Dad bought the scratch Card and sent me the PIN.
When I type the PIN on the PTDF site and click next,it returns back with the Scratch Card PIN page again.
I've tried severally to no avail.

there was no mentioning of transcript when i was filling the online forms. But i think we would have to submit it wit the printed forms when submitting at the scholarship boards. Just have it handy cos u never can tell cos a friend that did his last year submitted his transcript. ....

i didnt encounter these problems. mine was straight forward with no hitches.

SEYEOLA, SUMBIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENT WITH THE FORM: COPIES OF EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, INCLUDE YOUR SSCE RESULT, BIRTH CERTIFICATE, LGA IDENTIFICATION LETTER; 3 REFEREES FORM WHICH U DOWNLOAD FROM THE WEBSITE IN SEAL ENVOLPE, ACKNOWELGMENT SLIP WITH PASSPOR ATTACHED AND THE ORIGINAL TRANSCRIPT. I WISH YOU SUCCESS, I DO HOPE FROM SOUTH SOUTH, THEM,WE WILL MEET AT UNICAL FOR THE EXAMS ON JAN/FEB

u can get the card now in port harcourt. go to first bank headquarter before park.i bought my yesterday in that branch.

Application Guidelines
1. The application form comprises of Different sections

Section 1. Personal Details.
Section 2. Family Details.
Section 3. Educational Background.
Section 4. Employment Details.
Section 5. Programme Details.

A. All applicants must submit three reference forms, acknowledgement slip and all copies of certificates/credentials to Secretary of State Scholarship Board nearest to you within three weeks of publication.

B. Non-Academic Reference form should be endorsed by a Nigerian citizen of reputable
status other than a family member or relative who can vouch for your integrity.

2. All sections must be completed by candidates; if any information is not applicable to you please write NA.

3. Make sure you print your data page (this will be printed at the end of filling the online form) and submit same to Secretary of State Scholarship Board nearest to you.

4. Affix one passport photograph each on the two acknowledgement slips provided, (please you are to retain one of the slip for identification at the exams venue and the other to be submitted with copies of the forms and credentials).

5. All PhD must have secured valid admission before applying.

deadline for submission is 3wks from publication. so that will be 2weeks from now i suppose.

pls does it mean without original trascript one cannot able to sumit the forms. because i have my trascript but is photocopy during one of my applications. can they collect that one?

i heard it has to be original transcript and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope from ur sch....

for me, i think the first bank people at marina in lagos are highly ineffective and should be banned forever from selling the ptdf scratch card. till now i have been going round all the first bank branches to get a scratch card but to no avail. first bank = USELESS BANK
