Oracle Accounting Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

IITA, with headquarters at Ibadan, is an international Agricultural Research Centre in the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), which is an association of about 50 countries, international and regional organizations, and private foundations. IITA seeks to increase agricultural production in a sustainable way in order to improve the nutritional status and well-being of people in tropical Sub-Saharan Africa. The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable candidates for the above named position at the Institutes headquarters in Ibadan.Successful candidates will Enter journals into GL and monitor the posting of journals entered; Ensure orders to be paid are approved and still opened at the time of payment; Review Oracle of Pos and non-PO vouchers; participate in annual stock count; Ensure that error items do not exist at the close of accounting period; Monitor Oracle of prior 2002 orders through excels; Assist in Fixed Assets Management and perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.


JOB REQUIREMENT

Candidate must have BSc/HND Accounting or ICAN PE II plus minimum of two years working experience in similar environment
