Mobil Overseas Scholarship

Hi All,

Has anyone information on the Mobil Overseas Scholarship?
I guess they usually place this advert in June or July.
Kindly help the house if you have any information on this.

s not June or July. Is usually from August to December and thats when most scholarships are advertised.
Just keep on reading Guardian Newspaper and others . This information is very important for most scholarship applicants.

@ splendidkele: why give wrong information, Mobil usually advertises between June /July. Schools resume August - October, what sense would it make to award a scholarship by December?

It is actually in June/July they advertise for overseas scholarship. The one ESSO advertised in August last year was for Nigerian Universities and not Overseas scholarship

Mobil should have advertised long b4 now.
Last years OSS was advertised sometime in may and we where called 4 the test in August(10th). I wrote it ???it was hell. It was d most difficult test i had ever written in my life.
I was sweatin on my . Dose guys aint generous at all. Out of about 1000 people that wrote d test only 10 where chosen.
(6 Engineers, 4 Geologists). Thank God i have since gotten d PTDF scholarship, and by the grace of the almighty God, i'll b going out come September this year.

Dont tthink they r gonna advertise dis yr. Just concentrate ur energies on PTDF, and God willin like me, u'll get it.

Dis oil companies are 2stingy, their sociocultural input is too poor.
they never want 2 give back 2 d community.

it's seem's they r bein forced 2 do it. Not even heard anythin about d agip schol dat was advertised some time ago.

Chairman1, thank you for dat info. I am also worried but I can observe some changes in their time table. Their recruitment this year was earlier than last year. Last year recruitment test was written in July, this year test was written in May. I am wondering why they have not advertised 4 OSS this year. I will have expected it to be earlier since their recruitment is early this year.

subsy, why havent they advertised and what is really delaying them?l keep on reading newspaper and no sign of Mobil scholarships.But the one am sure is that will be advertise on August is British Scholarship for Nigerian and is based on 2:1 degree. If you have any info on scholarship let me know.

Last year's Mobil Overseas scholarship was advertised in mid June.I was informed in june that it was going to be out any moment soon(a very reliable source) but ............still wondering....will find out ....

The British Chevening Scholarship that will be out in August is for next year and not for this session starting in September. Please Mobil, we are waiting oh!!!!

Mobil does not secure admission for u. U have to have admission 1st before applying. If u don't have admission yet, my guess is to prepare for next year because I doubt if any "reputable" university will offer u admission now. Remember they said "reputable university" though the level of reputation is to be defined by them anyway.

The test is just like the job test. The skill part is same as the aptitude test, but the numeric and data analsis in the skill test is substituted. In its place, they ask some logical mathematics, and the english test is very lenghty. The English test is crazy. The options are even longer that the questions. They can ask you to choose the option that is nearest in meaning to the question. I think the maths and english questions are culled form BARON GMAT. The maths is a very logical kind of mathematics, and they are no direct answers. There is also limited time. Just try ur best and PRAY HARD

thanks chairman 1. Some guys are posting that they did SHL in the test of last year but i believe your post. Is the mathematics in "word problem format" and the english, in "analogy form"? I just need to have a directional preparation. God bless you
