Maintenance Engineers wanted urgently (Interesting career opportunity)

An established company based in Lagos that provides solution for wireless operators is in need of field maintenance engineers.

Responsibilities
• Involve in the engineering, maintenance and repair activities within the designated facilities.
This will include the provision of efficient equipment and facility solutions spanning from planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programmes, recommending cost efficient engineering solutions and coordination of engineering related activities.
• Can also look forward to a challenging career and may be further developed in other cross functional roles such as operations, project engineering, business development, etc.
• To make sure that all the locations and built masts are well maintained and serviced
• Remove equipment to workshop as appropriate, where detailed diagnosis and investigation can be more readily achieved, dismantling equipment when necessary and replacing faulty parts

Key skills
• A thorough understanding of the relevant technology
• Good practical skills and a common-sense approach
• Ability to work under extreme pressure if, for example, an entire production line is shut down, and a willingness to work unsociable hours when required
• Self-confidence and ability to work independently or as a member of a team and must have people management skills

Job Requirements
• An Engineering degree with a major in a Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumental discipline.
• 2 to 4 years experience as an engineering professional in a petroleum /petrochemical, electrical, civil or related industry.
• Besides organizational competencies, project management, strategic thinking resourcefulness, creativity and networking skills are desirable
