Job Vacancies at Management Science for Health

Christian Health Association of Nigeria [CHAN], in partnership with Management Sciences for Health [MSH], are implementing in Nigerian Indigenous Capacity Building Project [NICaB] in six states – ABIA, BENUE, DELTA, OYO, SOKOTO and TARABA. In collaboration with indigenous NGOs, NICaB’s goal is to strengthen CHAN member hospitals’ capacity to respond to HIV/AIDS in their communities, provide quality HIV/AIDS treatment services and interventions, and improve integration of TB/HIV diagnosis and treatment services, in order to expand community outreach and improve laboratory management and standards, NICAB is seeking qualified short-term consultants in these 2 areas.


COMMUNITY SERVICES CONSULTANT

Qualifications

Post graduate in social science, public health, nursing/midwifery or related discipline, with at least 3 years experience in community mobilization and community facilitation;
Experience in community HIV/AIDS services working with local NGOs, FBOs, and CBOs under donor – funded programs;

Understanding of the continuum of care for Persons Living with HIV/AIDS [PLWHA];
and willingness to travel to project sites.



LABORATORY MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT

Qualifications

Post graduate in Medical Laboratory science, with at least 5 years experience in an automated HIV/AIDS Laboratory; Demonstrable capacity to operate A CD4, hematology and chemistry automated equipment.
Experience working with an HIV/AIDS laboratory, as well as management, supervision, and teach of laboratory staff and willingness to travel to project sites.
The Consultants are expected to provide services approximately 10 days of level of Effort [LOE] per month.
