guys, anyone has an idea of how much Mobil Oil pays their entry level ( Trainee Engineers)?
i don't think that question is necessary or relevant,please ask before applying!
even if u work in Mobil for free u will be a happy person!
dream girl i tut u saiddeyhv already offered u the job, why then are ustill asking
dream girl, which mobil are you talking off?
mobil intl, mobil plc or mobil unlimited or do u mean esso exploration......lets know what u mean
Dreamgirl or is it Mobil filln station?
Which is more important to you, money or career development?
If your focus is inclined towards money, I am afraid you might not develop your skills very well.
I guess the salary would be good enough to take care of you and more.
Pay attention to your career development because you might have a need to leave that company for another company that might serve your purpose better. There is 'career security' but I wonder if there is 'job security' these days.
Expects some millions per annum, though.
wat shld those who wrote the test 4 trainee accountant expect in the nxt stage
its not like i hav fully started the job, i have just completed my Medicals with Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc, and they are currently doing a backgroung check on my Credentials.
I will b hearing from them in 2wks time.
Thanks for the advice to focus on career development and not money, but i was only asking how much Mobil oil Nig. Plc pays out of curiosity not cos of money alone. No one can deny the fact that the prospect of earning more money than u used to is an appealing tot.
you are simply fortunate.take the job and stop bothering about the money.na mobil o,,not petrol station.
i know of a mobil filling station in Ilorin that pays 5,000 per month.Dreamgirl, consider that.
When will Nigerians stop being cynical? I'm sure you'd all be concerned with how much your to- be-salary is if you were in dreamgirl's shoes. If you know how much, supply the answer; if not, wait for someone to supply the answer and add to your knowledge. This kind of attitude won't take anyone very far. Remember, what you owe everyone is a little demonstration of love. God with us all in our endeavours. Nice weekend y'all.
Hi, could you pls send me a copy of the INTERVIEW e-book? Pls send to [email protected]. Thanks guys.
chei! u nigerians. wot a pity!!! it was a simple question. I like dreamgirl, wanted to know the answer to that question. I had even posted it on at nl. anyway, if any1 sensible has got some info to share, pls do. otherwise, all u dumb nitiwits with even dumber advice, pls b silent. when ur advice is needed, it will b sought. till then........
@dreamgirl, when did u do ur last intvw? as in, the one with the GM and what area did u apply to? im waitn for feedback from the last stage. did mine abroad.
thanx...
Dream Girl,Mobil Oil Nigeria(MON) is different from Mobil Producing Nigeria(MPN),then MON doesnot pay well i know of that but you have to hold that one first if a better one comes you can move but build your career there.
Dream girl, i guess u ve scaled tru d chalengin stages of d recruitment process, nevertheless, i wish u all d best. Would u be kind to share with d house any info, lyk wat d 2nd interview was lyk, how many of u were successful, wat exactly does d background check cover, etc?
@DREAM-GIRL,
working with mobil, ur dreams had finally came to reality.
ABOUT THE SALARY:
- on training, u'l receive around 100,000 to 150,000 per mth
- after training u'l receive around 250,000 to 400,000
- all in 9ja hard currency depending on ur entry qualification.
- dreamgirl if u need any info abt mobil open a new email n display it, i'll give u my number.
@mathyem, are you sure of these figures you have given? Just asking!
@MATHYEM,U HAVE AN IDEA BUT I DONT THINK THOSE FIGURES ARE ACCURATE,THEY DONT PAY THAT MUCH.GUESS DREAMGIRL WILL UNDERSTAND BETTER WHEN SHE GETS IN THERE.
come on! wot r u guys on about??? stop giving false info. even shell pays 4.8p.a. n mobil pays more. pls get ur facts right n dont post if u hav nothin of value to share. thanx
@ dream girl.....pls wat is the second stage of mobil oil interview like....got a call for the second stage ...pls help....i need hints. if anyone has a hint of wat d second stage of the interview is all about ill really appreciate
pls dose of u dat were invited 4 either 1st or 2nd interview, did any of u sit 4 d exam in uyo?
I saw Dreamgirl's question and I was curious also. What is wrong with people? I know most of us are kind of jealous of dreamgirl but you should just keep you jealousy to yourself. Also, I guess you guys don't know the salary, that is the more reason you are yarning okpata there. SHUT UP if you have no info. Only Mathyem had some idea, and what did you do? You're discrediting his info. If you knew how much, why didn't you say it yourself. Mehnnnn, this is terrible. I'm actually pissed this morning.
ive heard that it is more in the range of 600-800k per month, but thats the whole package, not what you actually get (350k but na so them talk oh). Then from a previous post on NL that was started in 2007 or so, they estimated the salary of graduates at mobil to be:
"Oil companies: Btw 3.6 - 4.8 million basic going up to 6 - 8 million per annum when you talk about TOTAL RENUMERATION".
It all sounds a bit much, so I am also interested in the correct info, but wot mathyem has posted is obviously bullocks. Soz mate!
Other quotes are:
" Haba TheOne, Entry level salary of 500-650k a month in Nigeria??? I beg to disagree vehemently. Even if it is the total package like you are trying to point out, it still doesnt come anywhere near (for entry level I must emphasize). A figure like 250-300k a month is more like it and I can say "I know too" because I am in the industry. Nigeria is fast improving and we thank God for that but we are yet to hit the $5000 a month salary mark for entry level."
"where do u work let me tell you your salary
I honestly don't know how to answer you. What I can simply tell you is that the package for Total, Chevron and Mobil is more than 6 million per annum for entry level. At least I got that when I started and evrybody that I know got that. Maybe you are a contract staff?? "

i am really fed up with what people have turned this forum into. when i joined this forum in about two years d's sake...go, this were going on fine until recently when unworthy people started using what many people take serious as an avenue of abuses. plss... lets ament our ways for God's sake...ONE LOVE
GBONSQUARE, dats a harsh way 2 cal sm1 to order, not by callin sm1 unworthy. Nevertheless, d wat u re tryin to correct is 4 d good. I tink we need to check ourselves wat eva we post. We re supposedly d future leaders.
hi, just joined the House because of the conversation i read among you guys.
i must comment, you guys are funny :o
oga gbons! eya, wot a pity, two years of joblessness and counting. U must be so proud! The worthy one. Shiok! I was expressing my church mind. I am an engineer and I hate guessing. When a question is posed on this forum, only ppl with solid info shud respond. I am sorry if b4 all u guys did was share nonsense info. Well, Im here now. Younger and brighter. Not afraid to speak my mind. If sum1 gives me what I feel is inaccurate, I will challenge it. Where is the poster? He hasnt said anythin since he was challenged.Quote:

I wish all success!!
I'm almost sure mobil the highest paying company in Nigeria and its within the range of 600k to 800k monthly for confirmed entry level regular staff.
thank u oh my brother. sum1 is sayin 100k per month here! na secretary work?
Guys, as at last year, entry level earned N10.8m per annum but believe me, the monthly take home is much less than u guys think. Some of the money (certain allowances) get paid "one-off" at different times of the year. So what you take home monthly is very good but not as high as u think. However, the pay is one of the best you can get around now... :) ;)
my sister am in the industry .its between 350k to 400 per month
@mathyem
Please if you don't know just say so. why give false info, 100k in training school, na bank, rubbish! >:(
@Impish
Shell's 4.8m p.a. is basic salary before tax, after tax that goes to like 3.something, but u still have some allowances reaching about 100K per month. Other money comes with some reasons.
With all these mobil still pays more sometimes about 2X shell before tax.
Please again I say dont give wrong info
@sought_out
What you said is true, your info is more real. ;D
Mobil oil and mobil producing are not the same oh.Mobil oil is the down stream while mobil producing is the upstream,so pls which salary are we talking about?
