Executive Director Agro-Allied Company

Our Client is an emergent conglomerate looking to establish a new subsidiary that is engaged in Poultry, Fishery & Cooking Oil Mills in the following regions: Lagos, Abuja, Kano & Port Harcourt. Our Client is looking to hire an Executive Director to manage all aspects of the company including its activities and the relationships between the company and its Board of Directors, clients, employees, community, government and industry
The Executive Director has to be able to implement general policies established by the Group MD/Board of Directors; administer and execute them. The ED will coordinate development of operating and capital budgets according to the budget calendar; monitor monthly and other financial statements for the company, analyze financial statement, manage cash flow and establish controls to safeguard funds. The ED should also be able to review income and costs relative to goals, take corrective action when necessary.
He/she will establish a basic personnel policy, initiate and monitor policies relating to personnel actions and training, and professional development programs. He/she will also give direction to and work closely with vendors, outside contractors, firms and individuals providing services to the company and perform other duties as directed by the Group MD of board of directors.
REQUIREMENTS
- Good first degree from a reputable institution
- Masters degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline
- Extensive cognate working experience
- Thorough industry knowledge
