Competent Operations Manager (Transportation) Required

Our Client provides reliable transport services to the Eastern, Western, and Northern parts of Nigeria, as well as to the West African sub-region. Our client is seeking a competent Operations Manager to work in its Head Office. The ideal candidate must be a graduate of Transportation with over 2 years cognate work experience.

Duties:
• ensure an efficient service is supplied to customers
• ensure budgets are not overspent
• plan for courier to arrive at their destination as quickly as possible and in good condition
• estimate costs, quote for business in the sales office and sell going operational movements
• responsible for strategic business development
• make sure that passengers arrive safely and on schedule at their destination, and deal with unexpected redeployment as necessary
• supervise incoming and outgoing transport/courier movement
• perform other duties as assigned
