HYSYS AND SCHLUMBERGER PIPESIM TRAINING

It is high time our so called engineers woke up from the slumber of theoretical engineering to real life (practical) engineering. The world at large has become a global village with the emergence and growth of the rapidly increasing number of the computer literates. This cuts across all aspects of life and basically engineering courses.
In view of this fact, we have decided to put forth a training program that would be lasting for three weeks for the development of engineering students aspiring to go into the oil and gas industries and fresh graduate engineers.
The training will be based on impacting the fundamental knowledge and skills required by the oil and gas industries on the trainees as well as putting trainees to practical experiences on the most sophisticated and ever driving soft-wares (ASPEN HYSYS and Schlumberger PIPESIM) used by the world class oil industries like Exxon-Mobil, Chevron, Shell to mention but a few.
This training program will include Hysys and Pipesim modules and other modules useful to a Chemical Engineer.

- Getting started
- Propane Refrigeration Loop
- Refrigerated Gas plant
- NLG fractionation Train
- Oil characterization
- Gas Gathering
- Flow Station Modeling using Aspen Hysys
- Two Stage Compression

SCHLUMBERGER PIPESIM MODULE

Pipeline & Facilities

Section A:
- Introduction to Schlumberger Pipesim
- Application of Schlumberger Pipesim
- Pipesim Menu
- Equipment for modeling Pipeline/Facilities
- Pipeline & facilities Operations

Section B
Modeling of Condensate Pipeline
- Develop a compositional model
- Add the aqueous phase to the compositional model and identify the hydrate envelope
- Select a pipeline size
- Determine the pipeline insulation requirement
- Screen the pipeline for severe riser slugging
- Size a slug catcher



It should be noted that every participant will be given an opportunity to make a practical improvement on real life Gas Gathering and flow station projects.

Payable fees: 50,000 naira for HYSYS and PIPESIM and 30,000 naira for either HYSYS/PIPESIM only.

Good write-up.IGood advert. I hope u guyz will deliver wot u wrote. I have attended some trainings well advertised lyk dis in Warri & Port-Harcourt, but do not actually get value 4 my MONEY. Mr. Jobfair abi na Tradefair, can u assure refund of payment if participant is unsatisfied with the training? Also, wots d payment schedule?
