Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital Gusau is a world class hospital constructed

by the government of Zamfara State to provide secondary and tertiary medical

services. It is a well equipped ultra modem 150 bed hospital designed to provide

clinical services to the teeming population of Zamfara State and beyond.

A.) ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT


　

1.) Director Administration - (HATISS 15)


Requirements

Candidates must possess a degree in any of disciplines of Social Sciences or

humanities with a minimum of 20 years post qualification COGNATE experience.

Possessing a Masters Degree and previous experience in Hospital Administration

will be an added advantage.


2.) Senior Admin Officer - (HATISS 09)


Requirements

Candidates must possess a degree in any of the disciplines in Social Science

or Humanities with a minimum post qualification cognate experience of 6 years.


Possessing a Masters Degree or experience in Hospital Administration will bean

added advantage.


3.) Staff Officer - (HATISS 11)


Requirements

Candidates must possess a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration

or Public Administration, from a recognized institution plus at least 12 years

cognate experience, Additional qualification will be an added advantage.


4.) Higher Executive Officer - (HATISS 07)


Requirements

Candidates must possess a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration

or Public Administration, from a recognized institution plus at least 6 years

cognate experience, Additional qualification will be an added advantage.


5.) Senior Clerical Officer I - (HATISS 05)


Requirements

Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:

Certificate in Public Administration with 2 years cognate experience

Clerical Officer Administration with 4 years cognate experience

GCE 0' LEVEL with 4 credits at one sitting plus at least 4 years cognate

experience

Requirements

Candidates must possess any of the following qualification:

Certificate in Public Administration - direct appointment

Clerical Officers Certificates with 2 years cognate experience

GCE 0' LEVEL with 4 credits at one sitting plus 2 years cognate experience

Requirements

Candidates must possess Typist Grade I Certificate from a recognized

Institution at 50 Word Per Minutes plus 2 years experience.


10.) Information Officer PRO - (HATISS 07)


Requirements

Candidate must possess a good degree in Journalism.

English Language or Mass Communication from a recognized university plus NYSC

certificate.


11.) Messengers


Requirements

Candidates must possess a Junior Secondary Leaving Certificates or full

Secondary Leaving Certificate.

Requirements

Candidates must possess at least a 1st School Leaving Certificate.


13.) Tailors


Requirements

Candidates must possess 1St School Leaving Certificate plus proficiency in

Sewing.


14.) Gardener (HATISS 01):


Requirements

Any suitable able-bodied candidate with demonstrable aptitude for tendering

the plants and flowers.

Requirements

Candidates must possess 1st School Leaving Certificate plus two years cognate

Requirements

Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering registered with the

Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN) plus 10 years post

qualification cognate experience.

Requirements

Candidate must possess a HND Building from a recognized institutions plus at

least 3 years cognate experience.


3.) Higher Technical Officer - Electrical - (HATIS 5)

Candidates must possess fellowship of National Post Graduate Medical College

of Nigeria or its equivalent in the following specialties: Medicine, Surgery,

Requirements

Candidates must possess MBBS registered with the Medical and Dental Council of

Nigeria plus 12 years cognate experience.

Nigeria plus 8 years and 5 years; cognate experience respectively.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a recognized B. Sc. Degree in Nursing plus the

registration of Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) or NRN or NRM or

equivalent qualification registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of

Nigeria plus 15 years experience in the case of (a) above, 9 years experience

in the case of (b) above, 6 years experience in the case of (c) above and 3

years experience in the case of (d & e) above.


4.) POP Technicians


Requirements

Candidates must possess WASC/GCE 0' LEVEL or equivalent and successfully

completed three year training in the field in a recognized Institution and

obtained the registration of the relevant institution.


5.) Radiographers


a.) Medical Images Scientist - (HATISS 07)


Requirements

Candidates must possess B. Sc. Degree in Radiography plus NYSC certificate.


b.) Higher Radiographer - (HATISS 07)


Requirements

Candidates must possess the Diploma of the Society of Radiographers or

certificate of membership of Radiographers of equivalent qualification from a

recognized institution plus 4 years cognate experience


c.) Radiographer - (HATISS 06)


Requirements

Candidates must possess the Diploma of the Society of Radiographers or

certificate of membership of Radiographers of equivalent qualification from a

recognized institution plus 1 year experience


6.) X-Ray Technicians - (HATISS 06)


Requirements

Candidates must possess an X-Ray Technician Diploma from a recognized

D.) LABORATORY SECTION


1.) Medical Lab Scientist - (HATISS 08)


Requirements

Candidates must possess a good degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a

recognized university plus three years cognate experience.

Post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.


2.) Medical Lab. Technician (HATIS 06,07 & 08)


Requirements

Candidates must possess a WASC or SSCE and have successfully completed a 3

year training in a recognized institution and obtained the registration of

Medical Laboratory Technicians of Nigeria plus a minimum of 3 years cognate

experience for HATISS 06. 6 years for HATISS 07 and 9 years for HATISS 08.


3.) Medical Lab. Assistants


Requirements

Candidates must possess 4 SSCE or GCE credits at one sitting and have

successfully completed a two year training programme at a School of Health

Technology and obtained the registration of the Medical Laboratory Council of

Nigeria.


　

E.) PHARMACY DEPARTMENT


1.) Pharmacist


a.) Pharmacist I (HATISS 08)

Requirements

Candidates must possess a degree in Pharmacy registrable with the Pharmacist

Registration Board of Nigeria plus 3 years cognate experience for (a) above

and completion of mandatory one year National Youth Service for (b) above.


2.) Pharmacy Technicians


a.) Senior Pharmacy Technician - (HATISS 08)


b.) Higher Pharmacy Technician - (HATISS 07)

Requirements

Candidates must have completed the prescribed 3 year training programme at the

School of Health Technology and obtained registration with Pharmacist

Registration Board of Nigerian Pharmacy Technician Cadre plus 7 years cognate

experience for (a) above, 4 years for (b) and 1 year for (c) above.


3.) Pharmacy Assistants - (HATISS 03)


Requirements

Candidates must possess SSCE Certificate and passed the prescribed 2 year

training from the School of Health Technology registerable with the

Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria.


F.) FINANCE AND SUPPLY DEPARTMENT


1.) Director Finance and Supplies - (HATISS 15)


Requirements

Candidate must possess a degree in Accountancy from a recognized university or

any of the following professional qualifications, ICAN, ACCA, ICMA, ANAN,

CIFPA or CPA plus 20 years cognate experience.


2.) Principal Accountant -(HATISS 11)


Requirements

Candidate must possess a degree in Accountancy from a recognized university or

any of the following professional qualifications, ICAN, ACCA, ICMA, ANAN,

3.) Accountant I (HATISS 08)
