POSITION: COMMUNITY PHARMACIST
Role Summary: A Community Pharmacist who manages the pharmacy, implementing the company’s sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales target for the assigned products.
JOB LOCATION: Alapere, & Ojodu Berger (Olowo-ira)
WORKING HOURS: 8:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. (week days and alternate weekends)
QUALIFICATION: B. Pharm/ Pharm D
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum of (1 ) one year
CAREER LEVEL: Experienced or fresh graduate
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages all the staff in the pharmacy
- Ensures that all the operating procedures of the pharmacy are carried out effectively
- Attend to customers and dispense appropriate medicines as necessary
- Drive the medication use review process and ensure that all records are properly kept
- Ensure that all financial targets are met
- Ensure all patients are properly counselled and all medications leaving the pharmacy are properly
labelled.
- Supervise the accurate recording of daily sales and ensuring the records tally with actual sales
- Drive the customer management process to ensure all customers are satisfied.
- Advising patients of any adverse side-effects of medicines or potential interactions with other medicines/treatments;
- Preparing dosette and cassette boxes, usually for the elderly but also for those with memory/learning difficulties, where tablets are placed in compartments for specified days of the week.
- Undertaking Medicine Use Reviews (MUR), an advanced service to help patients understand how their medicines work and why they have to take them.
- Keeping up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses.
