Primly Services - A Newly established Company located in the heart of Abuja is presently in need of a Business Development Manager (brands)/Officer to manage its franchise businesses being introduced to Nigeria.


Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Abuja
Role
The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new customers through strategic marketing plans. S/he is responsible for managing and growing existing business relationships. S/he must plan persuasive approaches that will convince customers to purchase the product/ increase sales

Duties:

• Oversee all functions of Sales, marketing & brand management for the company products;
• Prospect for potential new customers/business deals; discover, develop, negotiate and close all business deals.
• Target and develop a network of influential internal and external contacts
• Identify and target influential people inside the client, customer and third party organization and builds relationships with them
• Concentrate proactively on finding and expanding current business into new local, regional, national or international markets.
• Develop Strategic marketing strategies; demonstrate a proven ability to plan, develop and execute business development strategies.
• Develop and execute a business development plan to achieve set performance targets and objectives that will support market penetration, market development & product/service development.
• Examines risks and potentials; anticipate the impact of social, political and financial dynamics on business opportunities estimating customers' needs and goals
• Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the sales team
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, products and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
• Manage effectively the sales process through prospect development / tender receipt, proposal, presentation and closing negotiations
• To submit weekly work in progress reports and ensure data is accurate for real time reporting
• Work as a trainer and deliver training programs
• Write relevant proposal and undertake submission

Requirements
The candidate should:

• Have strong Brand Management knowledge and experience;
• Excellent Business Development and Relationship Management skills
• Proven Business Development Manager who is used working under pressure and meeting challenging targets
• Experienced user of Microsoft office in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong Negotiation and Presentation skills
• Experience creating, costing and implementing sales / marketing / advertising plans
• Ability to work to targets / goals / deadlines
• Should be outgoing, friendly and exceptional at building rapport

Qualification:

• A first degree is essential, preferable in a marketing related course. Masters is an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in Marketing or Brand management

Remuneration
Salary: 100, 000 – N150, 000 depending on experience

Job Title: Business Development Officer
Location: Abuja
Reports to: Business Development Manager
The Role
The primary role of the Business Development officer is to work with the Business Development Manager in prospecting for new customers through strategic marketing plans.

Principal Duties and objectives
The Business Development Officer is to assist and support the Business Development Manager in:

I) Increasing Awareness Of Primly Services Products:

• Dedicate a significant portion of your work schedule going to various hospitals, ministries, institutions and relevant agencies, dropping leaflets/proposals, and meeting with relevant personnel in a bid to advertising the products.
• Build necessary networks with clinical associates; identify market segments and ultimate consumers to pursue – Identify the target market

II) Marketing Primly Services Products- for sales with the associated Services;

• Have a clear and concise understanding of all Primly Services Products, its usability, functions and advantages in comparison with current competitors.
• Support the overall marketing objectives of the company both internally and externally.
• Source new partners for the company and develop relationships with existing partners.
• Ensure income generation targets set by the Business Development Manager are met.
• Concentrate proactively on finding and expanding current business into new local, regional, national or international markets.
• Monitor competition so as to develop strategies on how to improve your marketing strategy
• Engage in proposal writing and submissions
• Maintain a daily activity log of all tasks done daily and progress level.

III) Documentation:

• Ensure all relevant documents; submitted correspondences are adequately stored for ease of reference.
• Generate monthly reports of business generated through promotional activities and new business opportunities and provide monthly updates as required
• Carry out administrative work generated by the above activities.

Skills:

• Brand Management knowledge and experience.
• Experience in risk analysis.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging targets.
• Excellent Business Development and Relationship Management skills.

Salary: N50, 000 plus commission
