Associate writer/editor

JOB DUTIES
> A successful candidate will be highly creative, energetic, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once

> Edit and write engaging, creative copy in long form article variety.

> Work closely with the team to consistently deliver well-written creative content.

> Work closely with designers to create graphically and textually cohesive high quality content.

> Participate in editorial meetings, contribute ideas and incorporate team feedback.

> Develop a strong understanding of our target market and our customers

> Ensure content fits our target audience and develop concepts that are congruent with all marketing efforts.

> Communicate technical information in a clear and accurate manner to our target readers.

> Proofread and edit existing content to ensure message consistency, proper grammar, sentence structure, punctuation and technical accuracy.

> Combines strong writing and editing ability with a solid understanding of social expression industry processes, products, technology and/or procedures

> Exhibits sound decision-making, prioritizes work appropriately, and seeks out opportunities to broaden knowledge and skills beyond the defined expectations of the position.

QUALIFICATION
> BA-English, Creative Writing or related field or equivalent experience
