ATM SCAM pls read

PLEASE BE AWARE !!!

Our attention has been drawn to SCAM messages currently been circulated on the internet using various variants of websites that bear Interswitch e.g. [email protected], https://webpay.interswitchng.com/webpay/; stating that InterSwitch is introducing a new security plan or carrying out a maintenance and requesting cardholders register their InterSwitch ATM cards on these ‘fake’ websites.

Please be aware that these mails are fraudulent. InterSwitch and its member banks will NEVER ask cardholders for their PIN, card number or card expiry date.

These fraudulent activities have been reported to the appropriate authorities, InterSwitch is also taking steps daily to shut down these fake websites and enlighten cardholders where possible.

Kindly inform your friends, colleagues, and neighbours to ignore such messages and pass on this message to as many people as possible.

If you have registered your card details or think your card may have been compromised in anyway, PLEASE contact your bank immediately to block your card and reissue another card to you or, go to the nearest ATM and change your PIN

NEVER give anyone your PIN. Protect your PIN. NEVER reveal to anyone.
