Windows Vista.Pls help

Please house did anybody have good knowledge of Windows Vista.I have a Panasonic Dp-C264 Network printer.I install all my windows XP computers using the CD that came with the printer which is only for winXP/2000/Me/98/NT and server 2008.Windows Vista is not included.I have downloaded the driver that includes windows vista from panasonic website,but i am afraid if the laptop will get problem if i install it because Vista always have problem.can anybody direct me on how i can install this driver in my Vista so so the Vista will not have problem like crashing.The downloaded software is on my Vista desktop but i am afraid to click on "Run" to install it.Please help
