An introduction to the compilation of the standard IATA design manual loadsheet encompassing an explanation of maximum structural weights, limiting weights, aircraft basic and operating weights. An introduction to the basic principles of balance encompassing the moment arm, basic index calculations and an explanation of the design and completion of the drop line trim chart.
The course is focussed on providing a basic generic knowledge of weight and balance for those wishing to enter the field of load control.
