Vacancy for the post of a chief finance officer

We, a company in the printing and press industry located at Lagos Mainland; we seek the services of a Chief Finance Officer who will drive the accounts and finance team of our organization to meet desired benchmark in the industry.
Applicant is expected to have the following uncompromising competencies, knowledge and capabilities to deliver results which will be aligned to organizational vision and targets.

Qualification: A minimum of B.Sc. degree in Accounts, Banking and Finance or other related disciplines (Second Class lower minimum) Accounting certification will be an added advantage.

Years of Relevant Experience: A minimum of seven (7) years experience and must have worked in a senior management position for at least six (6) years

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
· Improve process to enhance work as related to the company’s policy
· Manage projects to ensure it meets unit regulations.
· Liaise with ICT to monitor accounting software for efficient output; cognate experience in the use of accounting software e.g. Peachtree, Pastel and Excel
· Ensure prompt execution of AP, cash movement, reporting and audit
· Advise, create & execute budget for business
· Ensure prompt and error free financial reporting
· Manage business expansion capital – forecast budgets, manage spend to budget, authorize spend, ensure value for spend.
· Maintain external financial obligations and schedule of payments for the said obligations

· Candidate must demonstrate strong business savvy, financial strategy planning and monitoring
· A proactive and vastly exposed personality with a can do attitude.
· Must have been a strategist with good business sense.
· Should have developed an ownership and entrepreneurial mentality
· Must have a high sense of discipline and integrity
· Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
· Should be able to communicate effectively both orally and by writing.
