Oduduwa University is a Federal Govemment Licensed private University committed to provide a well balanced education without discrimination, for the production of versatile graduates with capacity for entrepreneurship for the development of the nation and to create a learning environment for students as well as to cultivate and nurture the qualities of human beings with a view to contributing towards meeting the economic, scientific and technological needs of humanity. To achieve this aim, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions.

-Vice-Chancellor

1. VICE-CHANCELLOR
Qualifications:
A candidate for the post of Vice-Chancellor is expected to possess a good university education, be a person of proven integrity, moral rectitude and successful as a manager of both human and material resources. Specifically, the candidate shall be expected to:
(a) be a distinguished scholar of the rank of Professor or equivalent, with ability to provide academic and administrative leadership for a growing institution.
(b) be able to command respect at national and International levels in the academic world through his/her proven track record;
(c) possess the ability to build and strengthen bridges between staff, students, and other members of the University community;
(d) . have a clear vision for the development of the University;
(e) enjoy good physical and mental health,
(f) possess the drive and ability to attract much needed patronage for the University and
(g) be highly computer literate and ICT expert.

2. REGISTRAR
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a good University Honours Degree and must have a minimum of twelve (12) years experience in administration in a University or a Higher Institution. In addition, he/she must be competently computer literate. Membership of recognized professional bodies will be an advantage.


3. ACADEMIC AND NON ACADEMIC POSITIONS
Applications are also invited from qualified and experienced applicants for academic and non-academic positions in the cadre of Professors, Readers, Senior lecturers and Graduate Assistants in the following courses:

I. ACADEMIC POSITIONS
Qualifications and Requirements
In all cases, candidates are required to possess appropriate skills and orientation for respective disciplines applied for as well as teaching abilities with adequate research experience.

PROFESSORS
PhD degree from a reputable institution with specialization in the discipline applied for with evidence of academic leadership in terms of publications, project design, execution and monitoring, administrative leadership with evidence of publications published in internationally recognized journals, with at least 12 years post qualification, full time relevant teaching and research experience. Active professors who meet the above requirements and or on sabbatical are also eligible to apply.

SENIOR LECTURERS
Same as for Professors, but with at least 7 years of post-qualification, full time, relevant teaching and research experience.

LECTURER I
(a) PhD degree from a reputable University with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification, full time, relevant teaching and research experience with evidence of sufficient scholarly publications in reputable journals.
(b) Master/M. Phil degree from a reputable University with a minimum of 7 years post- qualification full
time, relevant teaching and research experience and ability for furtherance in education.

LECTURER II .
Same as for Lecturer I above, but with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience for PhD holders and 5 years for M. Phil! M.sc degree holders

Graduate Assistants - Must possess a minimum of Masters/ M.Phil degree but candidate with first class or second-class upper degree from reputable Universities are eligible to apply.

II. NON ACADEMIC POSITIONS
I. Administrative Officers (B.sc (Hons) in relevant disciplines)
ii. Director of Works and Physical Planning (B.sc (Hons), Arch, Engr, Building, Quantity Surv. With 12years experience)
iii. Technical Officers (B.sc/HND Engr and Technological fields with 3 years experience)
iv. Medical Doctors (MBBS)
v. Secretaries (HND, ND, NCE}

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
These are as obtainable in the public service of Nigeria and University system, better offers are also guaranteed. All are negotiable.
