Urgent Vacancy for a Marketing Manager

A power generating company seeks to engage the service of a suitably qualified marketing Manager to market its brand of generators in Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business generation initiatives for the company through well articulated marketing and sales plans. He/She will also develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives and ensure effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the company.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES.
• A good first degree.
• Relevant certifications will be added advantage.
• A minimum of 8 years post graduate experience (with at least 4(four) years in managerial position) in Marketing/Sales
• Excellent sales and marketing knowledge
• Can drive continuous improvement through strong feedback mechanisms, competitive benchmarking and commercial innovations.
• Deep understanding of Hybrid systems/Generators proposal requirements and related laws in power systems in Nigeria.
• In-depth knowledge of strategic planning and business development.
• Relevant product and industry knowledge
• . Persuasiveness and innovative skills.
• Possess Leadership skills
• Available and willing to travel in line with job requirements.

Desired Characteristics.
The ideal candidate should possess an MBA or an equivalent masters degree, be innovative with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales target. He/ she must be able to communicate effectively and have good interpersonal skills, negotiating and analytical skills
