Urgent Vacancies for the post of Accountants

Client Profile:

Our client is a major distributor Electronics, Home appliances, IT Product and Mobile phone. She operates chain of distribution centers in major cities of Nigeria for one of the leading manufacturers of electronics goods.

Vacant Position: Accountants (10 Females and 5 Males)

Job Location: (Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt)

Job Description: Manage accounting functions at head office and branch level

Support daily accounting supervision in designated shops and retail outlet

Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures

Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

Monitor and support taxation issues

Develop and maintain financial data bases using NAVISION software

Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process

Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses

Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues

Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures,

Provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems



Person Specification

Degree in accounting or equivalent (B.sc or HND)

Knowledge of standard accounting practices and principles particularly in trading organization

Knowledge of NAVISION accounting software or other software that would facilitate easy transition to the use of NAVISION

Minimum of 2 years experience in similar capacity

Smart and intelligence within the age range of 25 years to 40 years
