Stock controllers needed urgently in the manufacturing industry

The following positions are open in our client's company and you are requested to short list suitable candidates for interviews.



A) Designation: Stock Controller

Positions – 5 nos.

Posting at – 3 in Lagos, 1 in Ibadan & 1 in Abuja ; Transferable within Nigeria.

Qualification – B.Sc. in Accounting, Member of ICAN.

Experience – 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance.

Computer literacy - Excellent command over MS-Excel, MS-word and Outlook.



Job will involve domestic traveling within the territory assigned.



Job Responsibility – Will visit branches in the territory assigned and perform various activities as advised time to time. Mainly the assignments involve:



1. Physical stock taking of the goods.

2. Stock reconciliation between Navision, Bin Cards and Phyiscal stocks and stock recon./ movement summary per location.

3. Purchase Reconciliation (LAGOS only).

4. GIT monitoring.

5. To supervise stock auditors and liaise with respective w/h keepers.

6. Ensure compliance of Co’s rules and procedures in place.

7. Proper upkeep and maintenance of the warehouses.

8. Proper stacking and palletisation of the stocks.

9. Surprise checks of physical stocks at resp branch and comparision with book stocks during visits.

10. Verification of Dented, Damaged and Near Expiry stocks at warehouses with reasons/ suggestions to avoid such losses.



Salary Package- Very attractive.



B) Designation: Stock Auditor

Reporting to: Will be reporting to respective Stock Controller

Positions – 9 nos.

Posting at – 1 each in Kano, Jos, Maiduguri, Aba, PHC, Onitsha, Abuja, Kaduna & Benin; Transferable within Nigeria.

Qualification – B.Sc. in Accounting

Experience – 2-3 years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance.

Computer literacy – Good command over MS-Excel, MS-word and Outlook.



Job may involve domestic traveling within the territory assigned.



Job Responsibility – Mainly the assignments involve:



1. Physical stock taking of the goods – Accuracy and regularity.

2. Checking of Daily Transactions and its proper navision recording.

3. Transfer waybill of Central w/h vs. GIN at branch.

4. GIN for goods transferred to Lagos or other locations vs. Transfer w/bill of branch.

5. Stock reconciliation between Navision, Bin Cards and Phyiscal stocks.

6. Surprise checks of physical stocks at resp branch and comparision with book stocks.

7. Ensure compliance of Co’s rules and procedures in place.

8. Proper upkeep and maintenance of the warehouses.

9. Proper stacking and palletisation of the stocks.

10. Physical verification of Dented, Damaged and Near Expiry stocks at warehouses with reasons/ suggestions to avoid such losses.
