Maintenance Officer Urgently Needed in the General Service Dept
Personnel Specification
1. 1. Must have an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background with OND, Trade Test or City and Guild Institute qualitfication.
2. 2. Must have a good knowledge of Perkins generator operations ( Servicing of 4. Perkins generator knowledge will be an added advantage)
3. 4. Must have a working knowledge of electrical / lighting fittings
4. 5. Must have at least 4 years experience in a facility management company or department.
5. 6. Must have at least a minimal knowledge of computer operations.


Will be reporting to the Head, General Service Unit.

FUNCTIONS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OFFICER
1. *1. Daily checking of Diesel level and status of the tank
2. * Liaising with the Operator to ensure the status of the generators are okay
3. * Ensure daily A/C functionality in the premises
4. * Liaising with the drivers to ensure Vehicle Audit, daily report on vehicle usage on a daily basis
5. * Daily checking of all Plumbing Connection e.g toilets, taps & sinks, including door locks
6. * Daily checking of all Electrical Connections/ Fittings e.g florescent bulbs, security lights, switches
7. * Must ensure daily that the Switch Gear/ Distribution box /PHCN Meter are in good working condition
8. * Must confirm the status of the Water Treatment Plant & pumping machine daily including weekly back washing of the water flow line
9. * Ensure that all information from obanikoro are noted and documented on a daily basis
1* Weekly visit of the obanikoro premises to ensure functionality of the assets there.
11. Daily check of all Electrical Appliances and their status (Micro oven, Fridge & water dispensers)
12. Must Ensure the Garden/ Lawn are kept clean and maintained by the assigned staff
13. Must give Incident/Daily report to GSO/HOD
14. Will assist in Administrative duties when required by the unit or management.
15. Carry out minor repair on the generators and co ordinate the generator service vendors on routine or service visits.
