Logistics Supervisor

Our client, a fast-growing and diversified group of companies with presence in the West-African sub-region, requires the services of experienced and entrepreneurial individuals to occupy the following positions:
Logistics Supervisor

Task Includes:

· Initiate sound ideas on the job.
· Being resourceful in applying managerial functions of planning, coordinating, controlling, staffing and directing in achieving the organizational goals.
· Initiate motivation of staff through internal and external trainings.
· Maintain a sound conducive working environment that will positively affect the organizational goals.
· Analytical approach to problem solving.
· Good leadership qualities and physical mobility.

· Insures proper documentation, including transit documents and customs clearances, exists for shipments. Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, forwarders, customers and agents in a timely manner.

· Procurement/Importation
· Inbound/Outbound Logistics

Requirements:

· B.Sc. Purchasing & Supply, Mechanical Engineering, Transport Management
· Professional qualification(s) will be an added advantage
· 5 – 10 years of post qualification experience in similar roles.
