An indigenous firm Chartered Accountants based in Lagos has vacancies for the following position:

SEMI SENIORS
• Candidates must have passed at least the intermediate Examinations of ICAN or its equivalent
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision

AUDIT TRAINEES
• Candidates must possess at least five credits in WAEC, including English and Mathematics at one sitting. Successful candidates must be registerable with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

LADY COMPUTER OPERATOR
• Candidates must be competent in Computer operations
• She will also act as Secretary/Receptionist.

Please note that you don't have to be an accountant to join an accounting firm. There are lawyers, doctors, engineers, historians, fishery graduates, etc, in accounting firms. In fact, in my own firm, there are a lot more scientists than accountants, ie based on first degrees. However, you should be ready to become one.
