Job Title: Interior Designer/Interior Architect
Location: Lagos


Job Summary:
As an Interior Designer/Architect, you will be expected to assist the Creative Director in the delivery of design projects from start to finish.


Responsibilities:
Play an active role in the delivery of The Company’s vision of functional and unique spaces.
Be expected to deliver throughout the entire project life cycle; coming up with spatial plans, selecting materials, accessories, fittings and finishes, meeting and presenting to clients and in general producing functional and unique interiors within the time and budget specified by the client. You will be in very hands on position where you will show your creativity and your ability to interact with clients, artisans and colleagues. Typical work activities include:
Documenting client briefs to ensure that the design team has a clear understanding of what the client is looking for
Taking measurements of sites to validate and produce detailed drawings
Producing accurate drawings including elevations and sections
Putting together design concepts and colour schemes
Creating space plans
Creating mood boards
Creating project budgets along with the Project Manager and Creative Director.
Sourcing for materials, furnishing and accessories to meet the clients needs
Providing artisans with detailed drawings and descriptions to produce local furniture and fittings
Liaising with Client throughout the project life cycle to ensure vision is delivered

Quality control in all areas of delivery to ensure that project vision is met


Qualifications and Requirements:
A University Degree
At least one year of experience in a similar role or ability to show capability to do the work required.
Be a pleasant, friendly, approachable and persuasive individual with a calm personality and be ready to learn and serve clients needs. A person who pays attention to detail and can adapt easily to any environment. Your communication and time management skills must be superb. You will have a genuine interest in the delivery of quality interior projects of the highest standard and in projecting the Company in the best possible light. With a strong and versatile personality, you will feel at home working with clients and artisans in the boardroom and on site.
Will have an excellent grasp of , and other architectural/graphic computer based tools
Be proficient in the use of the Internet and Microsoft Office Suite.
