Head of account

HEAD OF ACCOUNTS - A leading edge construction company located in Lagos is seeking for the services of a head of accounts that will reposition and drive the unit to achieve strategic goals. Candidates are required to have the following:


Responsibility:
To build primary business contact for the client and be responsible for client satisfaction.
To consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.
To build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
To understand company capabilities and service, and effectively communicate all offerings to the client.
To pursue opportunities for account growth and new business
To approve change orders and invoices, and responsible for payment collections
To ensure clients’ issues are dealt with in an efficient manner,
To work closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status.
To report to required authority, providing regular input on all account activity, including status and weekly reports.
Requirements:

• Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships
• Minimum 5 years and maximum 10 years of Account/project management experience
• Extremely detail oriented
• Technical competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc)
• Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
• High level of initiative and work well in a team environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
• Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
