JOB DESCRIPTION
Description of the SERVICE:
The SERVICE consists of supervising the execution of engineering for what concerns piping matters for all PSF package.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES:
To track and follow up CONTRACTOR’s activities in his/her discipline and ensure compliance with Project Specifications Codes and Standards.
To ensure that scope of work is fulfilled in his/her discipline. This includes ensuring that Group Leader is kept informed of the main decisions and liaise with the department to ensure that Group policies are applied.
Ensure close coordination between Structural Engineer for interfacing of piping (and accessories) supports design.
To review and comment on CONTRACTOR documents in due time and as expected as predetermined in the Contractual requirement.
To report to COMPANY Head of Engineering on progress of his/her activity on an ad hoc or regularly and minimum weekly basis.
To anticipate problems in his/her discipline and inform COMPANY Head of Engineering.
To highlight and report any deficiencies or changes to the Contractual scope of the basis of design. Management is to be immediately informed regarding any deviation, risk or concerns related on HSE, technical, planning or cost issues.
To review and analyze planning updates including critical path for discipline related activities; review and approve progress for discipline related activities, and coordinate with COMPANY
Head of Engineering.
To ensure that CONTRACTOR resources and organisation are adequate and competent fo achieving the discipline engineering and procurement works.
To prepare responses to all technical requested from CONTRACTOR and Project with the aim to add value by minimising costs without sacrificing safety or the level of quality.
To provide detailed assistance to our client Head of Engineering on derogations, exemption or modification requests.
To undertake technical evaluation of Change Order Requests for the parts related to the discipline.
To participate in all audit activities (HSE, 3D Reviews, PTRs, HAZOPS…).
To follow-up procurement, MIE, construction, expediting, FAT and assist in pre-commissioning for discipline related activities.
Ensures compliance's with storage, preservation and protection requirements of PVV equipments at package vendor facilities and at site.
To ensure adequate workload sharing with discipline engineering, and to ensure that discipline
Engineering benefits from his assignment on Project. Also, to be available to provide discipline added value point of view to other Project activities than for engineering (e.g. QA/QC activities, precom/com, start-up, O&Ms…)
To participate and propose solution in interfaces resolution between Contractors for all PVV matters.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The execution of the SERVICE requires experienced specialists fluent in English and with a
knowledge of French.

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. PURPOSE AND DURATION OF THE SERVICE
1.1 CONTRACTOR undertakes to carry out the SERVICE as herein after described:

A) DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE:
To plan, monitor and coordinate the marine part of the development project with regard to procedures, quality, HSE, and schedule optimisation, ensuring that the worksare executed to the full satisfaction of Operations.
To ensure that subordinates and contractors are aware of and comply with HSE rules and regulations.

B) SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES:
Be the point of contact for all marine related operations
For Contractors,
Within project team,
Within Project organisation (Logistic & Support Operations ‘LSO’, Field Operations),
With Company subsidiary.
With external parties (Marine Warranty Surveyor ‘MWS’)
Plan communication flow process between all concerned parties and warrant proper implementation.
To pursue the HSE objectives defined by his hierarchical superiors.
Assist Contractors in elaborating bridging documents, SIMOPS, etc.
Monitor & coordinate marine operations, including:
Contractors vessels, installation barges, cargo barges,
Company supply vessels, tankers, security boats, etc,
Trigger MWS audits & inspections,
Assist planner in follow-up of marine operation schedule,
Monitor & coordinate logistic between shore and site of
Company and Contractor personnel (helicopters),
Containers (food, waste, etc),
Fuel.
To submit a weekly report to his hierarchical superiors and check daily reports from site during naval operations.
Establish road-book for activities mentioned above.
To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by his hierarchical superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The SERVICES will take place in the following location:
Lagos area, Nigeria at offices designated by COMPANY
