Application Developer
A great Application Developer has excellent knowledge of at least one programming language. They must be familiar with a variety of operating systems and platforms. Application developers use programming languages and source code to create software that meets client requirements. Developers may work with multiple programming languages and operating systems. The Application Developer, under general supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code (such as HTML, JavaScript, asp.net, webapi) for components of applications and websites. Works with other developers, vendors and the Applications Programming Manager to develop proof of concepts, interface designs, and architecture of websites and applications. Responsible for interface implementation. Integrates web applications with backend databases. As an integral part of the web development team, he/she will also help drive the ongoing evolution of Becton Concept web solutions and emerging technologies.

Job Duties:
· Extensive Front End Development along with some Backend – Designing, coding, debugging and documenting user interface using HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery and Angularjs frameworks. Modifying and writing new RESTFul end points using .NET Framework.
· Complete projects on time.
· Maintain existing solutions by providing the appropriate level of support for production operations.
· Conduct end to end testing for both functionality and usability.
· Conduct software analysis including requirements analysis, design analysis, task breakdown and estimation. Demonstrates the ability to generate ideas and initiate action while achieving results
· Collaborate across team members, outside vendors and other teams to develop cross functional solutions.
· Excellent communication, problem solving and personal skills.

Requirements
· Qualified Applicant for the Application Developer will have the following combination of skills and experience:
· 4-year degree in computer science, computer information systems or equivalent experience.
· 4+ years of developing software using Web Technologies such as ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, Java scripts.
· Experienced in object oriented design and strong knowledge of core libraries and common design patterns.
· Experienced with VB.Net and/or C#, Microsoft WebAPI.
· Experienced with integration and creation of databases (SQL and/or MySQL) and web services (REST, JSON).
· Experience with the following technologies are a plus:
· Proficient in data analysis and interpretation; aptitude for drawing meaningful insights
· Deadline oriented with proven task-completion record; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
· Mastery of detail management and teaming practices are essential in this multi-task, cross-functional work center
· Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking and an ability to produce creative marketing solutions
· Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to circumstances and situations
· Proficiency in creative thinking, writing, editing, proofreading, grammatical correctness, publishing practices, standard style rules, and expression of complex ideas in simple terms
