Why do banks like using OND graduates as contract staff?

Why did bank like using OND graduate as contract staff whereas the said OND staff work wholeheartedly for the bank but at the end of the day, they give them meagre amount of salary.Pls help us address this issue.

Cheap labour!

pls, does any1 know any bank which is collecting cvs from OND graduates right now. Either for proper employment or IT. How can I apply?

THE REASON IS JUST VERY SIMPLE. THEY JUST WANT CHEAP LABOUR TAKE UBA FOR EXAMPLE THEY PAY THEIR OND HOLDER NOT MORE THAN N35000 MONTHLY NO HOUSING NO ANY OTHER ENTITLEMENT BUT THIS SAME OND DO JUST THESAME WORK WITH THE BSC HOLDERS.

The reason for this is that they prefer to employed OND because they would have full assess control on them than to employed HND with ACA or BSC holders. And Payment for OND would small than give bigger to graduates.

well the TERM cost reduction and profit maximisation should be their watchword.

it is because they feel those are the people they can pay and it wouldn't be as if they are not contributing to the economy of the country.

I think i believe what Olujuwon said ....but they re not being fair in terms of the take home they give them cos it does not even take some to their bus stops not to talk of taking them home.

The main issue is our SYSTEM. The system allows it, be it for cheap labour or intimidation contact point. It should be noted that banks are owned, controlled by Core CAPITALISTS... a congent reason for this.

OND holders is even better with some banks....what of ACCESSBANK that engage HND (strictly Upper credit) holders as contract staff with a pay as low as N35k-N50,000=

CBN & other regulatory bodies should be blame for this nastic/harsh treatment of mankind in this country.

In all, we shopuld be prayful & ready to grab any slightest oppourtunity that comes our way..in this type of our system.

Though the situation on grand is good for OND only due to the following reason;

.... To have some cash for further education, because " All fingers are not equall".
.... To expose to and gain a little experence of the bank activities.
.... To know who is who in the bank sectors.
.... And etc.

But I don't have interest in using HND or BSC holders for contract staff, so it is not good for this graduates at all.

Bank do this to reduced their labour cost and to have full contol on the concern graduate.

But in all situation, is good for OND but not good HND or BSC.

I am an OND graduate from YABATECH , i studied Business Adminisrtation & MGT.All banks i have submitted my IT letter to are requesting for an Internal guarantor who must be a management staff of these bank.this is really frusrating as i dont know any body in these banks.
i need help. if there any one who know any reputable company where i can do my IT

its a means of telling you that you are not accepted in that bank.
If i will recoment for you i think you should try Intercontinental bank plc.
and if they still repeat the same thing which i dont think then, come on air again brother.

:this is bcos they management enjoys impoverishing poeple while they grow bigger. the feel better paying to Ond holders than higher certificates holders. don't u think so.
