what do think about job recruiting agencies

i was invited by one of these recruiting agencies in lag and when i got there, i was asked to pay 200 before i couold write their test. i did pay and was asked to return for the result the following monday. guys when i got there i was told i passed and that i would have to pay 2000 b4 i could be given the address of the so called firm that wanted me. i paid and on getting to the firm, it was more like a business center that the IT firm it was termed. would you believe this people offered to pay me 10k monthly? my point is this, these agencies are mre interested in ur money than getting a job 4U. they also charge you to pay a particular amount from your salary which is absord. do u think these people, i mean these recruiting agencies are worth patronising?
