should ones RELIGION be a job barrier?

i dont know if RELIGION should be a disturbance for getting a job in this century.
i believe if you are turned down because of your religion, you are being preserved for a far better job.
i attended an interview at AIMS assets management early this year and was told in pure statement that "we do not employ muslims", too bad i could see in some of their customer profile books some muslim names, which implies they are doing business with muslims.
i am a plain person, not a religious fanatic, but i think that soul act is not a God fearing act.
reject me for not passing ur test or interview, and i sincerely would not be bitter about it.
what do u guys see to this?

hey tbanj, dont feel bad about that. we are living in world that people hide behind religion to do a lot of things that are not right. just look at it from the point of view that you time is not yet. keeping believing, keep praying and keep searching. one love.

Dont mind them, its like some of these banks that do not employ HND holders and yet trade and make their money from so many HND holders.

Its quite wrong, if the impression is to be circulated then, all their Muslim customers would leave them, its better for them not to even mention it, but rather tell you they dont have space for you.

It is very bad that things like that happen, even most banks and private organisation didn't allow Muslim ladies to put on cap or small scarf.......... it is not suppose to be so but don't relent your good job is near. all the best
