Should age be a barrier?

With the way things are going and judging by the present development as par the way our "employers" place their advert for jobs, Plz house, I want to know if there are still hope for jobseekers above 27years without any job experience for entry level jobs in NAIJA? I thought one have to count one(1) before two(2), walk before running, how can one garner experience(s) without working/being employed in the first place?

Second, does it mean that people with genuine second class lower(2.2) especially Engineers should always settle for lower paid jobs? Because from what I have observed, these are usually the kind of job that are left for people in that category if we were to go by the kind of educational requirements our so called "employers" request for in most of their job adverts.
