We got it all wrong my brother. If not we would be congratulating the Nigeria Police Commission for their boldness and strength to correct one of the multitude of blunders, frauds and unscrupulous actions of the last administration.
If Ribadu was as saintly as we painted him, he would have told the president then that the promotion was illegal. After all, the PSC refused to ascent to the promotion and they were ignored and the promotion of 109 officers were based on one 'signal' received from the president.
Let us accept that the Sege's administration did not perfect their scheme. If the knew, they would have extracted commitment from the NPC boss, the way the extracted a voluntary step-down from Audu Ogbe from the PDP throne.
I simpathise with Ribadu, and I share in the sentiment, but above my personal feling, I know the promotion was illegal.
