PLS HELP!! IS THIS UNICEF THING REAL

dear all, pls i urgently need responses to this... about 2 weeks ago, i saw a post on this site saying unicef was recruiting... accordingly, i forwarded my cv to the provided mail box.. shortly after i received a mail from them i.e [email protected] asking me to forward my passport picture. i did and then just today i saw their mail again informing me that i have been considered for internship program with them.. however i am being told to pay an induction fee before ill be informed of the date.. now my issues are these.. we are told to pay into an account with a personal person,s name who they say is the group coordinator.. secondly the amount to be paid differ in words and in figures i.e six thousand eight hundred(9,800). please is any one in the house familiar with this trend.. kindly help me out. thanks

Bros if i were you, i would have googled Unicef site and narrow my search to Nigeria to see what kind of email/domain name they use for their correspondences/emails, but the [email protected] look too fake to be true. More so, Unicef is being sponsored by United Nations and i believe they will not ask 4 money from you before giving you job.

Though the ball is in your court you decide how to play it, but always pay it safe.

Take a look at this sample mail [email protected], you can equally request from them to know if they ask for money before giving you employment

I will seriosly warn u not to pay a dime. No responsible organisation will ever reques for money before giving employment, not even Unicef. Moreso, they ask u to pay local money transfer to one Stupid mr kemfa?. dont you see that as a trap? why cant they give you unicef account no:, or mr kemfas' account no and account mame, so that it will be traceable for efcc.

A friend of mine also recieve the mail to pay to one stupid mr kemfa

You do not need a soothsayer to tell you that this is a SCAM! UNICEF is too organized to handle internship issues the way you stated it and besides they don't use a domain name such as "yahoo". Moreover, they can't be asking you for money for an intership program.
