Obama's Presidency : Will it have a positive impact for Africa?

Why?

well being black there would be impact but it should be clear that Amercia is the vital matter of impact, as for Africa it would be felt abit. he is from kenya but that does not mean Africa Government should just relax doing nothing, cause Obama is there. He is not based here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Africans in our usual nature; we like to attach sentiments to virtually everything or every issue.

Obama is of a Kenyan father! - So what? He owes no obligation to Kenya or Africa at large.

I see Obama as a very objective person who will tackle America's immediate problems first, concentrate more on repositioning America and plan for the future rather than boggling his mind and attaching sentiments to the fact that He's Half Kenyan or African-American.

In my opinion, the best positive impact that Africa can get from Obama is - Good Leadership! Anything outside that will be mere fantasy!
