NYSC declares certificates missing...(Can u imagine dat?)

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Headquarters in Abuja has declared some of its certificates missing. The Corps' Deputy Director, Public Relations Department, Mrs. Chynwe Ojukwu on Friday in Abuja gave the serial numbers of the certificates as: A001195301- A001195500, A001201917 - A001201950, A001191651- A001191700 and A001215501- A001215700. Ojukwu said the NYSC Directorate had commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of the certificates. She advised employers of labour to scrutinise all NYSC certificates presented to ascertain their genuineness before engaging any job seeker. She also advised the Federal Civil Service Commission as well as state and local government agencies to verify all discharge certificates presented for employment purpose. Ojukwu said all letters of exemption from the NYSC must also be cross-checked with the Directorate.

That shows that they need to upgrate their internal control system

I would not even get disturb rather be ashame of the ugly and absurd event that parade the corridor of honour as if if were to be a market or other less respected environment. We keep saying that this is Nigeria but if we continue this way, could you tell me the hope we have in the fast approaching future?
