VACANT POSITION- ACCOUNTS OFFICER.
Job Title Accounts Officer
Job Location Lagos

Key Responsibilities • Maintain Financial Records and prepare monthly Financial Accounts
• Prepares Bank/Debtors reconciliations statements.
• Manage the day to day operations of the Accounts department
• Maintain relationship with banks
• Ensure safe custody and proper control over company’s accounting information and assets
• Prepare statutory returns and remittance such as PAYE, WHT,
• Management of cheque register for both incoming and outgoing
cheques
• Management of office float and posting appropriate entries
• Receives all cash & cheque request and process for payment
• Handles petty cash book
• Any other allotted Financial and Accounting functions.
Educational Qualifications • 1st Degree or National Diploma from a reputable higher institution.
• Associate Technician Scheme (ATS) certification of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria is an added advantage.
Age/Work experience • Between 28-32years
• Minimum of 5years post qualification experience in structured trading/services/manufacturing environments.
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Excel
• Very conversant with at least two (2) Accounting software.
Skills Required • Technical proficiency in Accounting.
• Strong IT skills, as well as working experience with accounting software.
• Must be trustworthy and appreciate the importance of keeping information confidential.
• Interpersonal, written and oral communication skills necessary.
• Proactive, common sense and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical skills and solid working knowledge of internal processes and controls.
• Demonstrable ability to self-direct, organize, prioritize and effectively manage multiple engagements
