Although am not an engineering graduate , everyone knows why they are looking for jobs in the bank. All those things you mentioned cannot be carried out with teeth so where will a fresh graduate get money from cos no bank will give you loan without a reasonable credit, so they have to prioritise by looking for a way to survive............getting a bank job who knows they might save and do something later

well its a source of concern. There is a gradual killing of the technical fields right from the university level. My bros what do you expect in a non tech driven economy like naija. It is well.

yea Nigeria needs Engineering skills. Also they need to appreciate the Engineers too. Those courses you listed are nothing without experience. so I dont think that they are enough for u to stand alone, unless u have enough capital to employ Professionals.
I also think most engineers would want to wear cover-alls with fat salaries like in the oil and gas but wouldnt want to do that with low pay. Hence, the bank jobs
