I'm a graduate of Biochemistry, can i train as an Accountant..PLs Advice?

hello house!!!! i am a graduate of biochemistry. lately, my uncle adviced me to acquire training in accounting and as well write ICAN exams.my fear is dat while applying 4 job afterwards,won't my biochem background be a hindrance?cos i do see Bsc/hnd in accting or any social sc while biochem is a pure science......kindly advice me...dis is a cross road for me.

ICAN is ok, ur first degree does not really matter, follow your passion.. and answer d "Ultimate question"

Pls follow your heart and ambitions,kindly answer "the ultimate question above"and ask ur self are u doing whot u desire to do? or u are copying or following someone else's advice?if Biochem is ur calling in life(destiny)i dnt really tink u can fit in as an accountant!
