Federal Govt. or Bank, which one should I settle 4?

I got offer in a federal Govt establishment and a bank. Pls house, which one should I pick?

It all depends on U. But remember... the 'job security' - working with the Fed. Gov is brighter than working with any bank in Nigeria today. Congrats though, wishing u the best.

congrt, it depend on u, buty 4 me i will preffer fed. govt. bcs bank may give u target and u willn't hv rest of mind.

FG has job security and better oppotunity for advancement (studies) but the pay is not too good for beginers depending on if it is a ministry or parastatal.

i would rather advise you go Fed. govt job. its job security is higher than that of any bank in this country

I advise u go for FG for security reason. If u have good posting u may even discover your income in a year may be better than those in banks especially if your schedule of duties involve touring. By the time u go four training ang tours for 4 times in year and if u are lucky u get one foriegn trip, well you are talking of millions apart from your Salary. I know what I am talking about. Just pray for God guidance.

Congratulations, my advise to you is to choose Federal Government, though the money might be small compared to Banks, but the advantages are very high. You don't have to wake up 4am to rush to work and come back by 10pm. You don't need to use all your salary to purchase suite though you might decide to have some. And at the end of the day banks will always pay you pay off, but Fed. Governemnt will pay you and still be giving you pension allowance for life when the time comes.
