3. If it is with the MD, then why varying times?
4. Considering the late interviews that majority had in the previous stages, which was as a result of these different times, wld this stage also run into these late hours?
Would the Great ALADEKOMO be able to interview pple at such odd times?
5. Well, I think I av more questions to ask but will like to throw it open at this point
Butr my candid advice::::
This time, TIME MAY BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED, especially as it has to do with MD. HENCE, DON'T BE LATE FOR THE TIME U WERE SLATED FOR.
it cld be a major determining factor.
House wat do u think? especially WHAT DO WE EXPECT?
One luv!
@dynamicfellow you are right and your questions are on point.on the 1st question i cant imagine what to expect.same of the old same i guess.but this should be the last stage.i guess its the md now we are seeing since the 3rd stage involved their top officials.i am yet to see 2 people with same time.which peharps means it is one on one.but one cant conclude.as to whether the md will conduct late night interview.who knows.
@all who knows the kind of questions to expect.have we gotten to salary bargaining?
got an invite for 9am on tue, guess it will be the same interview questions plus some random question
u can check out these old posts for an idea on the interview with the chairman, the 1st one isn't encouraging

@romzyboi.waoh.read d recommended posts and didnt find the 1st funny.but then again it was in 2008 so maybe they ve changed.imagine going through 7 stages and not getting the job.wtf.lets see what happens.4th stage is still acceptable.its anything after thats absurd.i know pple who fly to lag from ph for the interviews not to talk of feeding expenses and hotel bills.
@all does anyone have any insider info.that could help on if we r meeting the md this stage,the number they intend employin and what they pay
I wish all you guys God's favour & Success in your 4th (perhaps, final) stage interview most especially @dynamicfellow. We earnestly await your testimony.
@bisolar. there are several pple with same time. i however dont think we have any bargain to make. we probably only need to know wat they have to offer. they have their laid down pay package within the range..... let me confirm my info 1st.Quote:

@lanreb and ufuoma 77.Well said.thanks for ur positive notes.
jst finished my interview,twas interestin like gmary said it wuz 2 stages,1st wuz wit sum of d unit mds and d questions were basically on current news happenings,analytical questions requirin one 2 deduce from info provided,sum basic it questions like diff btw ipod and ipad,types of browsers and search engines etc. d 2nd stage wuz wit d group md,twas a lil intimidatin initially bt tins cooled down.questions were random sum were askd to sing.also questions were askd on current happenins,core values of chams and sum oda random questions.confidence is of key importance and most of all favor frm God. hope d info helps those yet to do theirs.all the best.
@all. mary's father has 5 children.nana,nini,nene & nunu. who is the 5th child?
Well that was all the story was all about.
Obviously, we all know the answer.
On a serious note, how was Sir, Honorable, His Highness, Ademola Aladekomo.
To all my special guys yegra, david, chika, doyin,.........wish us all d very best.
As u can c, "Aye n reti ogo olorun laye wa o"

@DYNAMICFELLOW
very funny questions if that was what was asked. i just wonder why they waste peoples time 4 interviews ontop say wetin be wan get job. na wao. even foreign organisations sef no dey do reach that one sef. wish you guys luck and hope una start work sharp sharp.
@axeman85. dat was just the interpretation.
the issue is that the interpretation of all wat the man said was not even accepted by all wen he eventually explained. i was only saying that if u view it from the angle i av presented it now, then u av gotten the logic behind wat.
But i must agree with u dat the stages of interview are .......... Na only God be our strength o

It went well.though almost had an accident on the lag-ib expressway and almost got robbed at gun point.Thank God for the almost.and lets say a prayer that the guy who got robbed at gunpoint just outside chams and lost his laptop bag and original documents locates the original documents.the thieves were on bike and we had just finished the 5th interview.i.e M.d around 8pm when it happened.not funny at all.
@bisolar, what kind of conpany 'd schedule interviews at Ungodly hours, all these Chams People don't look serious at alll... Thank God for the "ALMOST'.... ilu yi su mi oooooooooooooooo, olorun lo ma ko wa yo!!!!! The life of a Job Seeker, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
@bisolar thank God you were not robbed and for the accident, and for the guy that his laptop and documents were stolen by God's grace the documents will be returned. hope you ok sha? dnt worry these trials are to make your testimony great...
@ufuoma 77 and lanreb.Thanks guys.much obliged.funny thing is they actually rushed us so we could finish early.previous ones had ended as late as 10/11 pm.
na wa oooooooooooooo!!May God not make our labours to lead us into greater problems/disaster.
The kind of things that I heard has happened to some pple especially during this Chams interview.........I really pray that they will be absorbed at last .....wishing u guys all the best!! and waiting 4 u to share ur tesimonies wit the house immediately u are called for medicals!
na wao this is very sad oo, interview at ungodly hours, imagine the poor guy we dey husssle make him 4 get job, dem just tief him laptop and documents. i just pray after all these things, the guy gets the job ooo. cos if him no get i go follow am swear for the chams people.
@bisolar
it is well jare. God go make them give you the job after your ordeal. and journey
@all
make una dey hope for the best.
@bisolar, u dnt mean it. this is a very terrible and discouraging case o. I hope FYA (i.e d HCD) was informed so she can plan future interviews (not this set any longer anyway) in such a way that pple wont get to face this kind of ordeal any longer.Quote:

@toluluck,@axeman85 and dynamic fellow.thanks for your sympathy.though the most amazing aspect was when the security guards started carrying huge stones when we raised the alarm that someone was being robbed,imagine!we are talkin gun they are carrying stones.i just hope d guy has at least retrieved his line so chams can contact him if he gets the job cos his phones too were taken.i forgot to add that earlier.
I also took part in all the stages of interviews and i honestly dont see the need for the duplication of the interviews.
It could ve bin summed up to 2 stages!

well u guys have all had ur say n i also extend my sympathy to the guy robbed cos i saw it happen. i know if i write my name most peeps will knw me. but d question is how much do they pay mgt trainees? pls i need to knw.
Seconded oh! I really need to know too!
Waoh, just got info from a mgt trainee of last year, says they had fun last year, and things were much better thae! they were earning almost a 100k per month, but he doesn't think it'd be like that this year, cos of the economic crunch!. Says it would be around 70,000/month, but that there are other benefits!. God help us all oh! ;)
Na wa.70k per month.that will be very stingy of them cos dis year has been very good to them.what with the multibillion national id card project and sim registration contract stuff amidst others.
@all, guyz after last intvw i actualy had a chat wit a staf who told me dat he heard a rumour about a new facility of chams dats nearing completn n dats where they'r gona put us new-intakes cos we'r realy much n i suspect dis myt delay our being contactd altho i dnt pray it lasts 4 2 long a period, n as 4 d pay package i agree wit @cutie6 cos a frnd of mine who's homie works wit chams said a similar tingie. Dis staf i had a chat wit also said he heard dey'l b pickin evry1 so dis shld probably sound as a sort of succour 2 d guy who ws a victim of d men of d underworld, i do sympatize wiv u man! @dynamicfelow, tnx 4 ur coments altho sory mine's comin late, u kip beatin me it guy! Hopin 2 see us al cald 4 meds
@cutie26 and yeggy tanx 4 d info bt ow long is d mgt trainee cos i heard its more like 3yrs instead of 6months
No oh! I actually heard its a 6weeks thing oh...infact my contact even told me they were camped in a house at Magodo and it was really fun for them. I wonder if it would be the same for us too. Anyhow sha God help us all! ;)
@romzyboi, i heard d 6mths is more lik probational, while, its actualy 5yrs, is 4 d training process proper i.e d mgt training, n on my 1st intvw d HCD by name YFA said its only after 5yrs dt one can asume d positn of a manager dt is on d average. @cutie26, is it true dt dose 4 lst yr where given an acomodatn during d probatn period?
Yes they were given accomodation oh, at a big house in Magodo G.R.A!
@yeggy tanx.askd cos i heard dat there is a probability of signin a bond b4 trainin so i wantd to kno wat d length of trainin.d house at magodo is for everybody or those cummin in frm outside?
i heard similar ting from my broda's friend who left chams for NLNG after 2years with them. He said the bond is for two yers though. The accomodation i think is for everyone, but what i do no understand is whether it is gonna be some sort of community living style or what?Quote:
